Question 6:
What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Whilst creating this product i have had to learn and practice how to use new technologies that i have not used before.
In order to make my blog super-visual i needed to learn how to use new softwares that enabled me to present my information in creative and unique ways. For example, i used software such as; Prezzi which allowed me to create an interactive powerpoint when talking about conventions of an opening sequence, slide rocket, embedding youtube videos onto my blog and using screencast to speak over the footage that is on the screen. All of these things can be embedded onto my blog.
During the planning and creating of the opening sequence i have been able to use new pieces of software and enhance my skills with hardware. The hardware that i have used are the cameras, tripods and the macs. I have used these before, however i have learnt how to use them to their full potential. I was able to build up my knowledge of the macs by using new software such as iMovie, Photoshop and Livetype. Photoshop enabled me and my group to create our company logo, whilst we used iMovie to edited our opening sequence together.
